His experience spans a broad client base — from individual self-builders and educational institutions to developers and HMO operators – reflecting his adaptable approach and understanding of different stakeholder needs.

His previous experience includes working for another planning consultancy on a wide range of urban and rural schemes, and as a planning officer at Lichfield District Council, where he managed a varied caseload including householder, change of use, and listed building applications.

With a strong foundation in development management and a proactive, solutions-led approach, James combines technical planning expertise with commercial awareness to help clients achieve successful, deliverable outcomes.
