RIBA Chartered Architects
Our RIBA Chartered architects provide integrated planning and design expertise throughout RIBA stages 0–7, for residential developers, landowners, homeowners and non-residential developers and operators. We believe in the importance of working with our clients to unlock the full potential of a project, combining a commercial aptitude with genuinely positive design and place-making.
Our architects thrive on projects that couple commercial success with genuinely positive design and place making
As a team we believe the integration of planning and design expertise, from the macro to the micro scale, is central to the delivery of successful new development. Our team combines their diverse range of skills to develop sustainable design solutions that are exciting, innovative and commercially viable. As an RIBA chartered practice, we are committed to providing the highest professional, ethical and best practice standards, with fully qualified RIBA chartered architects overseeing every project.
On every project our architects work closely to reconcile the conflicting interests of all stakeholders, while delivering maximum value for our clients. Our approach is analysis-based and is geared towards achieving imaginative, practical and deliverable solutions. Each site is unique and we identify, and analyse the character and quality of the built fabric and public realm so that our research informs our design proposals at every level. We believe in the importance of working with our clients to optimise their investments.
To provide maximum value a development must not only create an attractive new ‘place’ but also enhance the experience for existing inhabitants and generate a strong sense of place for generations to come. From an individual home to an urban extension, small office building to a new city, all must integrate into their surroundings if they are to be successful.
Working in conjunction with our established team of planners, we are able to provide our clients with quality designs that are underpinned by a deep understanding of commercial complexities, local authority requirements and planning strategy.

Our RIBA Chartered Architects Services
RIBA Stage 0-1 Feasibility Studies
We will work with you and you consultant team to appraise the site and build your project brief. During this process, we will assess the site opportunities and constraints with thorough site analysis, undertake in-depth character assessments of the site context or built fabric on site, test design strategies, and consider potential project risks.
RIBA Stage 3 Planning Applications
The primary outcome from RIBA Stage 3 is a coordinated set of design information that can be submitted for planning. Often at this stage we will work alongside other specialist consultants to ensure that a robust set of documents is presented to the local planning authority. We have extensive experience in producing clear and credible Design and Access Statements to effectively communicate our designs at the planning stage. We will also undertake stake holder engagement, from leading small workshops to large public consultation events.
RIBA Stage 5-6 Construction to Handover
We have experience of assisting the delivery of projects across sectors on site at RIBA Stage 5, working collaboratively within a design team and the contractor, we can support the contract administration process. For developer clients, we can also produce conveyance plans to assist with the sale of plots following construction working towards Practical Completion.
RIBA Stage 2 Concept Design
The concept design options will generate discussions from the client team, consultant team and wider stakeholders; we will work closely with you to understand your objectives and develop a ‘chosen con-cept’ design to bring forward into the next stages. We pride ourselves on our excellent graphic communication and at this stage can produce exciting visualisations of the concept designs to aid pre-application discussions.
RIBA Stage 4 Technical Design
Working with other consultants such as structural engineers, mechanical and electrical engineers and specialist sub-consultants, we will develop the design in enough detail to allow for it to gain building regulations consent and be costed by potential contractors. This is often in the role of Lead Designer which means we coordinate the design input from other consultants. We have experience of working on projects across a variety of procurement routes, including Traditional and Design and Build.
Specialising in multiple Architectural sectors
Extensive experience in the heritage, residential, leisure and tourism sectors
With a collaborative approach to complex sites with multiple constraints and historical sympathies, our Architects have wide-ranging experience in handling large scale projects through multi-disciplinary teams, often acting as project co-ordinators and design team leaders. We are skilled in the process of negotiation to find solutions to which those involved can agree as a viable blueprint for change.
Heritage & Conservation
When working on projects with important historic fabric, we understand that it is important to preserve the important historic character of buildings and places whilst looking for opportunities to enhance the potential of what they can offer. Our team has a Conservation Registrant architect on the team and a proven track record of projects designed and delivered in sensitive heritage and conservation settings, from RIBA Stages 0/1 to 6.
