West Midlands consultancy expands Stratford-upon-Avon planning team

Following a significant increase in demand for planning services in the West Midlands, Marrons is growing its presence in Stratford-upon-Avon with the appointment of Max Morgan.
Max joins the design, planning and development consultancy as a graduate planner after successfully completing a degree in geography at the University of Portsmouth, which included two months of work experience at an award-winning housebuilder where he actively participated in the entire planning process – from initial site identification to the strategic development of comprehensive plans.
In his new role, Max will be responsible for evaluating site conditions to assist the team as they form planning applications, which will include studying potential new sites and monitoring the progress of existing applications.
Max said: “I am thrilled to have joined Marrons – an effectual and innovative town planning consultancy that is making a significant impact in the industry. I am excited to contribute to the growth and success of the consultancy, learning from the vastly experienced team and developing my skills while working on a variety of projects.
“My passion for town planning and my desire to make a meaningful contribution to the industry aligns perfectly with Marrons’ vision and values. I hope to become an experienced member of the team and build up my own network of connections to bring in my own clients.”
The Stratford-upon-Avon team, which has more than doubled in size in 12 months, takes the lead in developing Marrons’ offering in the area, providing services including securing planning permission for development and promoting greenfield and brownfield land to meet future housing and employment needs. Gary Stephens, partner and town planning consultant at Marrons, said: “Due to our high success rates there has been a significant increase in demand for our services in a variety of projects with independent developers and major house builders. We are committed to investing in emerging new talent, developing the planners of the future, and are delighted to welcome Max to the team as he takes the exciting steps into planning.”
