Marrons shortlisted as finalists at the Bristol Property Awards 2023

Marrons | News

The team has been shortlisted as finalists for Consultancy of the Year at the Bristol Property Awards.

These awards celebrate the dynamic Bristol property sector. From residential to commercial, from lettings to new builds, from civic buildings to bold re-imaginings.

The ‘Consultancy of the Year’ award recognises the achievements of consultants in the Bristol area that play a key role in the property sector’s engineering, construction, environmental impact, planning and regulations.

The past year has been a year of expansion and investment for Marrons as we outline our vision to become one of the leading multi-disciplinary consultancies in the country that adds real value for clients.

Marrons has recently expanded into the South West, opening an office in the heart of Bristol in October 2022. Initially providing architectural services, the office has swiftly grown to offer planning, urban design and heritage services – all backed by extensive experience and local knowledge of Bristol and the South West. This office has grown from two employees to 10 within the past 12 months and seeks to turnover in excess of a £1m annual turnover in 2023-2024.

During this period, we have actively engaged with local businesses on a range of exciting innovative projects that seek to boost economic growth and deliver high-quality sustainable and affordable homes. Our local clients include: Acorn Property Group, Meanwhile Creative, Bristol Zoological Society, and Curo.

We have also merged with heritage consultancy Locus, adding another new service line to our portfolio. Locus took on the Marrons brand and the team of four, who have more than 40 years’ combined experience in planning with all aspects of the historic environment, joined our consultancy.

This shortlisting is testament to the skills and experience we have in Bristol. Our growth and transformation enables us to provide clients with the tools needed to respond to the requirements of the National Planning Policy framework, and brilliant designs that are underpinned by a deep understanding of commercial complexities, local authority requirements and planning strategy. As a result, in December 2022, Marrons Planning rebranded as Marrons – to reflect this expansion.

The winners will be announced on 25 November 2023.
