Celebrating five promotions
Marrons | News
We are delighted to announce five promotions across our planning, urban design and heritage teams, effective May 2025.
Jack Barnes and Sarah MacPherson have been promoted to planner and principal planner, respectively, while Jared McQueen-Pullen and Davide Respini have both been promoted to principal urban designer. Tom Linington has been promoted to principal heritage planner.
Jack, based in Stratford-upon-Avon, specialises in major strategic land promotion and urban brownfield regeneration sites, ranging from city and town extensions to infills and new dwellings, helping clients from inception through to appeal.
Sarah, based in Nottingham, brings more than seven years’ experience in planning. Having started her career in the public sector as a local authority planning officer, she understands the complexities of the planning process and is able to support clients through all stages. Sarah also advises on matters including discharge of planning conditions, enforcement and lawful permitted development.
Jared, based in Birmingham, is an urban designer. With experience across both the public and private sectors, he has contributed to a range of major residential, regeneration, and mixed-use projects. His collaborative approach, combined with a strong understanding of design strategy and placemaking, ensures he can shape developments that respond to both local character and future needs.
Specialising in urban design, masterplanning and strategic urban development, Davide works closely with private clients, land promoters and housebuilders to deliver feasibility studies and strategic land promotions for mixed-use and residential developments. With experience in both private and public sector residential projects, Davide provides expert guidance in shaping sustainable and well-planned communities.
Tom, based in Nottingham, has more than 15 years’ experience in archaeology and consultancy. With expertise in fieldwork management, heritage planning, GIS and spatial analytics, he has worked on projects ranging from residential developments to solar farms and Ministry of Defence sites across the UK. He specialises in archaeological fieldwork management, heritage impact assessments and environmental impact assessments.
Brian Mullin, partner and head of Marrons, said:
“Recognising and rewarding high performance is a core part of our culture, and we are delighted to announce these well-earned promotions.
