Tom Linington

Tom is a heritage professional with over fifteen years’ experience working nationally in archaeology and consultancy services and is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists.

With a background in both field archaeology and heritage consultancy, Tom has an in-depth knowledge of British archaeology and history, the practical elements of commercial fieldwork, and the application of planning legislation and policy.

Tom has experience working on a wide variety of projects ranging from homeowner to strategic developments; including solar farms, residential developments, and Ministry of Defence sites, across England, Wales and Scotland.

Tom is an expert at the production of Heritage Impact Assessments, Archaeological Desk Based Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessment and the negotiation of sustainable programs of archaeological fieldwork through Written Schemes of Investigation.
