Marrons named RIBA chartered practice

Planning and design consultancy Marrons, which is part of Ampa, has been registered as a Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Chartered Practice, reflecting its commitment to delivering the highest quality professional services, ethical and best practice standards in architecture.
Marrons’ roots are in planning, but the consultancy has since added urban design, socio-economics, heritage and architecture to its list of services, with locations up and down the country – including the Midlands, London, the South East and most recently the South West with the addition of a Bristol-based team of architecture specialists.
Alex Craggs, Associate Director for Architecture and Urban Design in Birmingham, said: “We’re really proud of this significant milestone. Becoming a recognised RIBA Chartered Practice is testament to how far our business has grown and the quality of our brilliant professionals.”
“Our clients see us as trusted advisors and this is further validation of that, demonstrating our excellence in design capability and the quality of service we offer.”
This news is further bolstered by positive growth within the team with the recent arrival of Principal Architect Chloe Willis with over 10 years’ experience specifically within the heritage and residential sectors.
Tom Macklen, Director for Architecture in Bristol, said: “It’s great to have Chloe on board as it supports positive growth plans in the south west and expanding out service in residential heritage areas.”
The Marrons architecture and design team includes Chartered Architects Alex Craggs, Tom Macklen, Will Thomas and Chloe Willis, supported by a growing team of architecture and urban design professionals.
