Marrons announces four promotions

Marrons | News

We are proud to announce four promotions across its architecture and planning teams.

Tom Macklen, who heads up the consultancy’s national architecture team, has been promoted to partner.

Planning experts Reiss Sadler and Anish Jadav have been promoted to associate director and are based in Stratford and Leicester hubs, respectively.

Lucy Bartley, based in Stratford, has been promoted to principal planner.

Tom Macklen, who joined Marrons in 2022 to lead the architecture team, has been promoted to partner. With more than 17 years’ experience in the building industry, Tom delivers a range of architecture projects across residential, commercial, industrial, community and leisure sectors across the full RIBA stages.

Tom said: “I’m thrilled to have been promoted to partner and so proud of how our team has grown, and how our design led service has developed and diversified Marrons’ offering.”

Reiss Sadler is a fully qualified town planner with more than 10 years’ experience, supporting developers, land promoters and landowners negotiate the planning process from site appraisal and promotion through the Local Plan, to managing planning applications.

Anish regularly works with and advises landowners, housebuilders, and land promoters on urban extensions and major residential developments. He also prepares and submits planning applications and maximises land value through his expertise in financial development appraisals.

Lucy Bartley has extensive experience in the private sector, providing planning advice for small, medium and large residential development sites; from identifying development potential, through to planning statements and appraisals. Brian Mullin, head of Marrons, said: “We are delighted to announce Tom, Reiss, Anish and Lucy’s promotions – who have all worked incredibly hard and are truly deserving of their achievement.

“It’s a really exciting time at Marrons as we go through record-growth and expansion to meet client demand. It’s also testament to the opportunities that our consultancy offers that we have people working across so many different hubs and at different stages of their careers receiving promotion.
