William joined Marrons in the Leicester office as a Graduate Planner in July 2025, and is currently undertaking a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Birmingham. He holds an undergraduate degree in Politics and Modern History from the University of Manchester and is working towards chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
In his role, William supports a wide range of planning activities, including drafting planning statements, liaising with specialist consultants across disciplines such as landscape, ecology and highways, and managing the submission and progress of planning applications. He also contributes to project coordination and planning assistant work, helping to ensure smooth and efficient delivery for clients.
William brings early experience in neighbourhood planning, having supported a local parish council during his undergraduate studies. He is particularly motivated by the UK’s growth agenda and is passionate about the role of planning in delivering sustainable, well-designed development that meets the needs of communities now and in the future.
