Sarah is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) with experience in both public and private sector planning roles.

Beginning her career within a local authority, Sarah developed a strong understanding of the planning system from the inside -managing a diverse caseload ranging from householder applications to complex residential schemes.

As a planner with experience across the sector Sarah enjoys a varied workload, including land promotion, planning applications, appeals, enforcement cases, and condition discharge. She has also undertaken rural diversification projects including the conversion of redundant farm buildings, erection of new commercial units, and conversions under permitted development.

Her development management expertise makes her an asset to clients at every stage of the planning process – from early pre-application discussions to appeals and post-permission work.

Regularly working within the strategic land sphere, Sarah represents housebuilders and land promotors seeking to see their site adopted into the development plan, as well as bringing sites forward for speculative applications. She also enjoys enforcement and lawful development work.

Sarah also provides mentoring to team members and is an active member of the Nottingham office, as well as being a mentor to those pursuing chartership with the RTPI. Sarah has been nominated as RTPI Young Planner of the Year (2025) for the East Midlands region.
