- Urban Design
Sam has over seven years of experience in technical and urban design. His primary expertise lies in technical drawing and data management, where he brings precision, structure, and clarity to complex design challenges.
Throughout his career, Sam has supported a wide range of multidisciplinary teams, including landscape architecture, civil engineering, architecture, and graphics, offering a collaborative mindset and a keen eye for detail. In addition to his technical focus, he has contributed to urban design projects that balance functionality with people-focused design.
His work spans a broad spectrum of planning and design stages, including outline planning applications, reserved matters submissions, redevelopment schemes, and large-scale development consent orders (DCOs). His primary focus lies in strategic pre-planning and land promotion, particularly within residential development, where he helps shape the early vision and viability of sites for new communities.
Sam works closely with planning, design, and consultancy teams to ensure technical design supports deliverable, high-quality proposals. While residential development remains his core area, he also brings experience in industrial schemes, contributing to projects that balance functionality and long-term value.
His approach is grounded in functional technical design that underpins aspirational places – spaces people not only admire, but genuinely want to live in.
I believe that combining technical detail with graphical and aspirational urban design allows us to build high-quality, well-designed places that we know can work.
