Megan is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and the Institute of Housing and has ten years' planning experience in the private sector and specialises in strategic-scale residential-led development across England.
Having previously worked for a national strategic land promoter, and within regional housebuilding teams, Megan has a specialist interest in strategic land and her work focuses on the delivery of new homes and associated infrastructure, both through local plan promotion, and through the submission of speculative planning applications.
Megan’s recent experience has focused on major grey belt and Green Belt projects, including work on sustainable urban extensions, new settlements and other major residential-led schemes. She is experienced at representing clients at local plan examinations in public, having recently worked on behalf of a consortium of developers to challenge the soundness of the Shropshire Local Plan Review and the South Staffordshire Local Plan Review and provides expert witness services at planning appeal, including adducing evidence recently on grey belt and five-year housing land supply.
