As head of Marrons’ newly opened Leeds office and responsible for growth into Manchester, Dan leads the firm’s growth in the North, helping clients unlock opportunities and deliver successful outcomes for their projects.
A chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) with over 28 years’ experience in the planning and development sector, he has a proven track record of delivering complex, high-value projects across the North of England.
He has advised on major housing, employment, retail, and mixed-use schemes, acting for national housebuilders, developers, landowners, public sector bodies, and government departments.
His expertise spans strategic land promotion, planning appeals, local plan examinations, and section 106 negotiations, with a particular strength in steering projects from concept through to detailed design and delivery on site.
Dan is a strategic thinker who draws on multi-disciplinary expertise to position sites effectively in line with market expectations, guiding clients through the planning process and securing the best possible outcomes for their projects. He advises clients on planning and strategic land projects, leading on planning and masterplanning services.
As well as his professional town planning qualifications, Dan holds post graduate certificate and diploma in management studies and is a regular speaker at conferences.
