As the head of Marrons, Brian is a highly experienced and nationally recognised town planning expert, helping clients successfully navigate the planning system.
A chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 2007, Brian combines deep technical knowledge with strategic insight, developed through a BSc in Environmental Planning and two postgraduate diplomas in Environmental Planning and in Construction and Project Management, all from leading institutions in Belfast.
He began his career as a local government officer, before joining Marrons in 2008, where he played a key role in shaping the consultancy’s national presence and reputation.
Based in the Midlands, Brian is a planning policy expert, providing strategic and technical planning development advice to a broad range of clients. Working predominantly within the English planning regime, Brian works across a range of sectors in the development industry including residential, office, industrial, retail, education, renewable energy, telecommunications, heritage, urban regeneration and rural development, and leisure and tourism.
Brian is a highly experienced and nationally recognised town planning expert, helping clients successfully negotiate the planning system. He takes a lead role in the assembly and management of multi-disciplinary teams who coordinate, prepare and submit planning applications. He also acts as expert witness at examinations, public inquiries and appeal hearings.
