Robert is a Senior Heritage Planner who has a wide experience with a broad range of clients. Although with expertise in built environment heritage, Robert’s main experience is with archaeology and in archaeological consultancy, gained from commercial archaeology and cultural heritage projects in the UK, Europe, and California. Robert takes a fresh approach to heritage management that seeks improved understanding of and access to our heritage, whilst working within the NPPF, PPG, and other UK policy and planning frameworks. With over 11 years of professional experience in private, public, and third sectors, Robert has a proven track record of guiding projects through a variety of archaeological concerns that may occur throughout the planning and development process. Whilst remaining development led, Robert has creative approach to finding solutions, whilst retaining the significant parts of our cultural heritage. He both understands and supports the need to incorporate archaeology and heritage into a modern planning approach, offering development positive heritage solutions led by his expertise in the application of policy, law, and guidance.
