Lucy is both a chartered planner and full member of the IHBC. Her breadth of experience allows her to provide invaluable heritage-led advice to clients. She is known for her pragmatic and client focussed approach.

Lucy has over 7 years’ experience working within the built historic environment. Her experience spans large-scale strategic land projects through to individual listed buildings, farmsteads, townhouses and chapels.

She helps clients navigate complex, sensitive sites and is known for her pragmatic, commercially-minded advice that keeps schemes moving through the process; whether that means shaping a design-led feasibility strategy at the outset, building the heritage case for a planning submission, or defending it robustly through to determination.

Her work regularly involves de-risking heritage constraints through the pre-application process with proactive conversations with the Council and

Historic England. She is well-versed in assessing heritage impact on large strategic sites and tall buildings nationwide, giving her a strong grasp of how policy and legislation actually play out in practice and how to use that knowledge to inform her approach. Her wider experience includes leading on EIA schemes, education institutions, country estates and detailed design input for the conversion and remodel of listed buildings.

Lucy is a experienced consultant and clients rely on her to represent their schemes at Design Review Panels, pre-application and Committee meetings, as well in discussions with Historic England.

Lucy is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and a full member of the IHBC.
