Owen is a senior planner and licentiate member of the RTPI, currently working towards chartership, with nearly six years’ experience across both the public and private sectors.

Owen holds a master’s degree in Urban Studies and Planning from the University of Sheffield and has worked across several regions of the UK, including the South East, East Midlands, and South Yorkshire.

Before joining Marrons, Owen gained diverse planning experience spanning minerals and waste consultancy, local authority planning policy, and residential development. His background includes promoting land and preparing local plan representations on behalf of clients, coordinating multi-disciplinary consultant teams, and engaging with local planning authorities to achieve successful planning outcomes – from new sand and gravel quarries through to residential and commercial schemes.

Owen provides strategic planning advice to help clients unlock the potential of land and buildings. He is involved in preparing and managing planning applications at all stages and contributes planning policy research and advice. Currently, he is supporting several large-scale residential developments across the South East, working collaboratively with the firm’s masterplanning and technical teams to deliver clear, coordinated, and commercially informed planning strategies.
