After completing a dual master’s in architecture and town and regional planning at The University of Sheffield, David began his career at Sheffield City Council’s Housing Market Renewal team. Since 2011, he has worked in planning and design consultancies, successfully identifying and masterplanning some of the largest development sites in Yorkshire. He has also worked across the UK to support the allocation of housing and employment land, and to prepare planning applications that help unlock development opportunities for clients.

David is a chartered town planner and urban designer with over 20 years' experience in both the public and private sectors. He joined Marrons in May 2025.
